SOLD Antique SFBJ Unis France 301 Doll with Sheep, Antique French Doll Little Bo Peep
SOLDAntique Unis France 301 Bisque doll with six sheep and a black dog. Doll measures approximately 6 3/4 inches. Her bisque socket head is incised with: SFBJ 301 Paris 5/0. She has painted eyes with painted brows above. Closed mouth. She has a papier mache body with jointed shoulders and hips. Painted shoes and socks. She is wearing a darling lace dress with silk ribbon. Matching lace hat. All sewn on. She is wearing a replica mohair wig with cardboard pate. She has six papier mache sheep with fleece coverings. They have pretty ribbon and dresden decorations. Painted facial features. There is also a small black dog that is made the same way. No markings on the animals. The sheep measure approximately 4 3/4 inches long. This is a darling set that we purchased on our latest trip to Paris.
Condition: Bisque is in good condition with no hairlines or chips, some glue and wig residue, nose rub, Body is in good condition with some light soiling from time, Costume is in very good condition with glued on shepherd hook, Sheep are in mostly good condition but one does have a re-glued leg, dog is missing some of his "fur." No odors. Doll stand is not included.
