Antique doll blouse for china or French fashion dolls. Made of fine cotton and decorated with cotton lace. The blouse bodice is made of finely stitched pintucks. There is a back closure with fabric covered buttons and tiny handworked button holes. Cotton drawstring waistline. The hem on the blouse is out - easy fix. The blouse is ca. 1800's. This is a finely made garment and it should be considered for antique dolls such as French fashion dolls, china (glazed porcelain) and other similar dolls. The blouse measures 6 inches long from the shoulder seam to the lower edge of the blouse. The shoulder-to-shoulder measurement is approximately 4 3/4 inches across from side to side. The slightly dropped sleeves measure approximately 4 3/4 inches long. The arm openings at the wrist measure approximately 2 1/2 inches around. The waist measurement is 10 inches around but may be adjusted smaller with the built in drawstring. Gorgeous antique blouse!
