SOLDAntique Gentleman doll's trunk with Victorian scrap paper decoration. Lovely trunk/box is covered with "marbled" paper. The top is decorated with sea and floral inspired paper decoration. The inside has beautiful plaid paper covering the surfaces and a fishing and hunting scene on the inside lid. The box has two functioning lower drawers with star shaped metal pulls. The top has compartments andremovable smaller boxes. Ribbon hinge. Measures approximately 9 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches. No maker's marks or tags. Ca. 19th century piece. Made of light wood with paper coverings. This handsome box would be the perfect accessory for your male fashion doll. So many nice places in the box to hold shoes, socks, caps and other necessities for a gentleman. We love it!
Condition: Overall good condition but there are scuffs and tears to the paper finish, Draw pulls are missing tips, odor free, clean.
